I can NEVER find this stuff in ANY Lego store I go into. Until recently I thought they were “collectibles” because I never see them except for eBay.
GGrrrr

Some Assembly Required is a pattern that will enable you to make an adorable toy that can be taken apart and put together again. The head, torso, and legs are independent pieces, so you could make multiple pieces in different colors and they would be interchangeable.
I’ve included a tutorial on boxes and edges so you can make nice crisp corners. The tutorial isn’t necessary to make the toy, but it may be helpful.
OK, people from Etsy, I’m too lazy. Go knit! [Fight Knitting Club—thanks Kimberly]

Now, I can admit a fondness for Lego. They’re probably the greatest toy ever made. But wearing a Lego construction on your chest? That might be a bit much.
The Brick Construction Shirt from ThinkGeek features a big ol’ baseplate on the chest. That means you can build whatever you want—your name in bricks, a TIE Fighter, a busy castle scene, whatever—and then wear it around. How uncomfortable sounding!
But hey, at least it’s better than those Ed Hardy shirts. [ThinkGeek]
